Brialey Brightwell owns and runs a berry farm in Hoddles Creek, Victoria. When she heard us speak at her local church she wanted a banner for her berry farm packing shed.
I was curious. ‘Why in the packing shed? Isn’t it only open 3 months of the year?’
‘Yes,’ she said, ‘but we get anyone to work here: people straight out of jail, backpackers, overseas tourists and so on. If they’re sorting or packing berries, there’s no way that they can ‘not see’ the banner. They’ll ask questions, we’ll tell them the story and give them a booklet and if they want us to, we’ll pray for them. Wouldn’t it be great to get a harvest of souls as well as a harvest of berries?’
We couldn’t agree more.
